Pakistan Army Vows to Eliminate Externally-Sponsored Terrorists Threatening National Peace: ISPR

Pakistan Army Reiterates Resolve to Crush Externally-Sponsored Terror Threats

The Pakistan Army’s senior leadership has once again declared its firm resolve to eliminate all externally-sponsored terrorists working to destabilize the country’s peace and security. The reaffirmation came during the 264th Corps Commanders’ Conference, held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) under the chairmanship of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.

According to an official statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the high-level meeting focused on national security, ongoing counter-terrorism operations, and the increasing threats posed by foreign-funded terror groups operating in border areas.

Foreign-Backed Terrorism a Key Concern

In its statement, the ISPR emphasized that foreign intelligence agencies are actively supporting terrorist elements with the goal of creating unrest in Pakistan. The Army’s top brass declared that such state-sponsored terrorism would be countered with full force and zero tolerance.

“The Pakistan Army remains fully committed to ensuring national peace and will not allow any foreign-sponsored element to sabotage internal stability,” said the ISPR.

The forum paid tribute to the sacrifices of soldiers and civilians in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts and reiterated the commitment to maintaining hard-earned peace across the country.

Strong Message to Anti-State Elements

The statement also warned that any attempts to spread fear, disrupt social harmony, or undermine economic progress through terror activities will be dealt with swiftly and decisively. The Pakistan Army reaffirmed its “unwavering stance against terrorism in all forms and manifestations.”

General Munir and the military leadership expressed their resolve to bolster security across high-risk regions, particularly along the western frontiers, where multiple attacks have recently been reported.

Public and Regional Reassurance

This announcement comes at a time of rising concern over border security and terrorist infiltration. By making this public statement, the Army sends a clear message to regional stakeholders, foreign powers, and anti-state actors that Pakistan will not tolerate threats to its sovereignty.
